YOG!!!

Today, i went out with my parents to suntec. Well, when we left the carpark to the basement then to the first level, i saw the zhonghua band and it was plainly coincidence. When they finish playing of their pieces, i waved to grace and ranice and then to yu jun and olivia and cheryl koo. Well, there was some kind of cultural exhibition there so my dad and i went to look see look see as we appreciate the band performance. When they end their performance, we left and went off to find my mum who was busy shopping. Around 8.30pm, we left suntec and went home. By the time we reached home, it was 9pm and we were watching the YOG official opening ceremony. Initially, my dad and i thought that my favourite part which is the introduction of countries who took part in this game ended but it did not and it was actually quite funny. My dad and i laughed real hard as we watched. Well, you might ask, what is so funny? And here is the story. As the countries got introduced, there are so confusion. The singaporeans who are holding the board which states the country name in english and greek lead the country representative player who is carrying their own country's flag. Well, the representative player are supposed to follow the singaporeans but somehow, they got confused or whatsoever, some went the opposite direction. Example, singaporean walked left and the country representative player walked right. Some even worst, the singaporean walked to the left/right but the country representative player walked straight to the middle of the stage. At last, there are two crews came out to lead these confused representative player to the correct place. It was really hilarious. My dad and i nearly cried and fell off the chair because it was so funny and we laughed so so hard. After the introduction, it was the singing for the theme song for this year's YOG, Everyone. There should be 5 singers but only 4 came. Sean kingston did not come and so, his part of the song was split up to the other 4 singers. Soon it was the part of lighting the torch. The torch came from the dragon boats to the singapore sports player to another to singapore most recognised sailor to get gold for the YOG, darren choy. The part when darren choy light up the lighthouse was very nice as you see the flame goes up to the top. Overall, i think the ceremony wasn't really that bad since the ending for quite interesting.
