Before 2010 Ends

Today jolyn, yujun, grace, elaine, puay suan, teck wee and i went to pasir ris park. Actually our first activity is cycling. However, when we reached the bicycle rental, it started to rain -.- So, we walked to Ehub instead for bowling. We had 2 games of bowling and for first and second game i reached a total score of 100 and 101 respectively. I know it is not something very incredible but for me, it is since it is the first time for me to reach a total score of 100 and above. The highest i ever got was 99 only. Since it was so incredible to me, i took photo of it. Yeah, i am quite proud of myself. Hehe! After bowling, the rain stopped so we went back to pasir ris park for cycling. After we rent the bicycle, we cycled to the playground. Puay suan, grace and i climbed the thing that looks like a pyramid and is made of ropes, i don't know what it is called. I took quite a while to reach the top since i was kind of stuck. Teck wee went up like halfway and went down. Well, he was kind enough to teach me how to go down the most more fun way. I was kind of stuck so grace got to like move down a bit and guide me up. Well, all 3 of us were on top, yu jun took a photo for the 3 of us. Then, we went down. Going down was a problem to me again...so, i got guidance from puay suan and teck wee take over and guide me went i was near the pole and following teck wee's instruction, i slide down the pole. After all of us got down, we went on to the swing. That is where accidents took place. First, it was jolyn and puay suan swinging on the swing. After swinging a while, jolyn suddenly flew out and she scratched her knee. Then, elaine and i went up the swing. This time it is my turn. I flew backwards and did a somersault and land on my head. The front part of my head was protected by my hand but the back part still hit against the floor. Luckily, the floor is filled with sand so i think it acts as a cushion. After the fall, i sat up, still a bit blur but after a while, i got myself back. Grace asked me if i re-injure my injured ankle but this time, there is no problem with my ankle but it is with my head. The rest helped me up and jolyn, grace and i went to toilet to wash up and wash jolyn's scratched wound. I think my head is alright, hopefully. After that, we went to the beach area where we took a group photo. We got teck wee to take photo for us. We jumped and teck wee will snap. Then, we cycled back to return our bikes and then, jolyn, yu jun and i went to have dinner while the rest went off. After dinner, all of us went home and the day ended. Well, the last day of 2010 ended with me blogging while watching the countdown on tv. Tomorrow, i am going to watch movie with my primary classmates. It has been long time since we see one another so it also good to gather together and watch a movie.

Insomnia

These few days i seemed to be suffering from insomnia. After since i came back from my holidays, i can't get into sleep that easily... Initially, it might be time difference since the time difference between spain and singapore is around 8 hours but time difference should only last for a few days. But it has been around a week yet i am still tossing and turning on my bed. I have no idea why i can't get into sleep. Sometimes, i got to toss and turn for a few hours then, i will be able to sleep. No matter how hard i shut my eyes, use anything to cover my eyes but i just i can't sleep. Insomnia also cause me to get headache. Unable to get into sleep, opening my eyes looking at the dark ceiling, i am so worried that i will start hallucinating. I have been thinking about the reasons why i can't get into sleep. So, i guessed. I guess that maybe my energy level is too high and i got to use up all my energy and then, i can have a good night sleep. But everyday staying at home, watching tv, playing computer, doing homework do not seem to use up a lot of energy. This might not be the real reason but i can't think of any other reason. Well, just nice i am having a mild flu so i am able to consume medicine. These cough mixture and running nose tablets usually make me go drowsy and i will fall asleep. But these few days, these medicine seems to lose its effect. It does not make me drowsy but it makes me yawn very hard. I yawn so hard that i am tearing. Although it lose its effect on making me drowsy, i did not lose its effect on curing my illness. Sadly, i don't take sleeping pills that can make me get into sleep easily. But thankfully, i don't have sleeping pills or else i would most probably over rely on sleeping pills and might get overdose. It is really horrible to not able to get into sleep. I tossed and turned for a few hours and sometimes, i finally get to sleep but since it is very late, i only woke up at 12pm or later. Since i woke up so late, the amount of things i get to do thus, gets lesser. Talking about things i should do, i haven't complete my homework and i haven't study my social studies for the test on the first week of school. ARGH!!! I DON'T LIKE INSOMNIA!!!

HOME SWEET HOME!

I am back from my holidays! WOOT! It was great but sadly, there was no snow so, i can't play snow. However, it seems to be better if there is no snow. Like France, England and many more countries in europe are undergoing a lot of snow and airports in england were closed. Spain and portugal currently seemed to have the best weather. The weather is very cooling and sometimes cold but still acceptable since it is winter. It was especially cold in madrid, less than 10 degrees Celsius and sometimes 0 degree celsius. It was so cold that i had to dress like a ball. Whenever we are walking down a slope, i will tell my father that i can just roll down the slope since i am just like a ball. And my mum said that if i fall down, it is alright since i am so cushioned by the thick winter clothings. Well, there are many things to see like the famous museums consisting the famous artworks and beautiful scenery along the way. Well, we also tried their local dishes such as tapas and seafood paellas. Tapas isn't horrible or what but maybe because it does not suit me so, i don't really like it. The seafood paellas was not bad but it is like risotto. There is something interesting about these european countries. Whenever we were having rice or any food, there is no spoon. If it is like western food or tapas, the presence of spoon isn't that important but when it comes to rice and there is no spoon, it is quite difficult to enjoy the meal. They also don't have chilli sauce but sometimes they have Tabasco. But most of the time, no. During the trip, there are a few meals we had to eat on our own so, there was once, my family went to eat turkish food. Well, i feel that turkish food was nice. During this trip, i manage to finish my chinese book which i think is a big accomplishment. During this trip, my mum went crazy, like a crazy shopaholic. Let me talk about what happened when my mum met horrible service attitude. Well, my mum went into a LV boutique, well, a lot of people in the tour go shopping for branded since branded is so much cheaper in europe. In this LV boutique, my mum was viewing the handbags and she asked the salesman to bring out the one she chosen. The first one she chose was only for displayed so not for sale and therefore, my mum got a bit fed up because she thinks that it is quite silly to put the hand bag for display yet not for sale. Then, my mum saw another one which she likes too. However, this one is also not for sale because it is reserved by other customer. This time, my mum got real fed up and all the salesmen were like unwilling to serve my mum. So, we left. Then, we walked down the street. As we walked, my mum went into a shoe shop and she sort of like randomly took pair of boots. She tried and bought it and everything took place within 10 minutes. This is not my mum's style. Well, i can conclude that my mum bought that pair of boots because she got angry due to the horrible attitude by the salesman of the LV boutique. This is scary, isn't it. If any salesman got her angry, she will go randomly buying things... Well, i got a new swatch watch but my mum says that the pattern isn't pretty -.- Well, it was a great trip and i enjoyed myself. Portugal and spain were places deserved to visit if one never been there before. It is always a good experience to travel around to see more and learn more. After all european culture and asian culture do have a big difference.After all the traveling, i am finally back home! Indeed, i missed home and i am tired after all. But once i am home, i got to finish up all my homework. Today is Christmas Eve and tomorrow is Christmas Day so, i will wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

IT'S TIME FOR VACATION!

Yay! It is time for vacation! Leaving tonight to a place totally opposite of singapore. It is currently winter there and most probably snowing. Yay! I can play with snow! Although i am very excited and happy, i don't know why my nose is going against me. Grr... Well, after saying so much, i didn't actually say where i am going. Well, i will be going to spain and portugal but the first stop is portugal. I think it might be freezing cold there. Although i am going to holiday, i am not done with my homework. Gosh...i will spend the time travelling to finish my chinese book and when i am back, i got to rush the writing work. Now, i am not confident if i can finish the book... Well, it is too late to worry now. All i got to do is just to move it and do it. Hopefully, it will be a great trip and my whole family will enjoy a lot of fun. So, BYE BYE SINGAPORE! BYE BYE FRIENDS! IT'S TIME FOR VACATION!!! WOOT!!!

Another Day of Laughter

Today i went out with jolyn, yu jun, ranice and grace. Actually our main target for today is to buy macaroons and eat swee choon. But only one of the target was hit. We went to buy macaroons first. Ranice and i shared one box of 6 so each of us get 3. The rest bought too. Well, i bought the signature caramel, chocolate and lemon. I like the chocolate one the most. Signature caramel is very complex. The first bite on the signature caramel is like sweet but when everything melts in my mouth, the delicious taste comes out. No wonder it is a signature. I took photos of the macaroons. I also brought back the box used to hold the macaroons because it was so pretty. Then, we went around until 4pm when i called swee choon to make sure that it is opened and we don't have to make a waste trip. But sadly, swee choon is closed on tuesday so we are unable to eat swee choon and we got to go find other places to eat. So, we went to just acia to eat. I thought very long to figure out what to eat. At last, i ordered unagi set. It was delicious but the most expensive among all of us. Grace became a joker again. All of us went to get ice cream. Grace was the last to come back to her seat. Everyone got a plastic teaspoon to consume the ice cream but grace got a spatula instead. She came back asking, "Are you sure you guys take the correct spoon?" Well, of course we are sure that we got the correct spoon because grace got the wrong one. She realised that it was wrong when one spoon of her ice cream was a small bite. Everyone went laughing crazily for grace's acts. Spatula and teaspoon... LOL! Well, grace also went crazy. She was asking for my phone but at the front part i ignored her since she didn't mention my name so i didn't know whether she was talking to me. Then, when she mentioned my name, she started poking/touching me so i decided to pass my phone to jolyn. Then, when jolyn went to get her ice cream, grace went up to her to get my phone and according to jolyn, grace was pulling her pants... Then, to avoid grace from asking my phone, i exchanged places with ranice. At the same time, i hid my phone in ranice's bag and everyone just claimed that my phone is in no one's bag. Haha! Then, we went on chatting chatting and chatting. After chatting so much, we left. As we were on the way to city hall mrt, we went into Hershey. Beside Hershey there is a popcorn shop and the smell of the popcorn was extremely strong and sweet. It is so sweet that it smell a little bit disgusting and irritating. After visiting Hershey, we went on to HMV. Well, first i was talking about Justin Bieber's album. His MV on Baby was very pathetic. There is 600,000++ dislikes while there is 400,000++ likes only. See how pathetic is this... Yet his album is sold at $18.95... Now, here comes the joke. We were looking at JYJ's album and ranice asked grace, what band is this. Smart grace answered it correctly which is JYJ but "JYJ" was written big and wide on the album. Then, i added on, "Grace, what band was JYJ previously in?" This time grace's answer is "Big Bang". We were all laughing again. Previously, grace said that JYJ was previously from SS501 and now, she claims that JYJ is from Big Bang. But we can't blame her because her knowledge on kpop is as little as mine. But thank grace for all that laughing. I think no one else can make us laugh so much and laugh so hard. After laughing so much, we went home. But before going home, i went to ranice house. She showed me the funny video by some korean entertainment show. It was very funny and i was laughing like hell. Well, today there is a lot of laughing. After watching the show, i went home.

Bye bye fish...

Well, i have decided to talk about what happen today and yesterday. Yesterday, my group has finally finished the whole artwork. Yay! Overall, i think it is ok since we did out best. We spent 5 days of our holiday working on it. Initially, we thought that we could end off early on friday which is yesterday but at last, we left at 6.30pm which is the latest among all the days we came.

Then, today my mum and i went to bid goodbye to our dear fish. It is sad that we have to leave this fish. This fish has been with us for around 4 years and it has been an obedient fish. Although it is just a fish, we actually become one family after so long. Hopefully, this fish is able to survive through the wild. We let it off at the river where there is actually quite many people fishing. The reason why we let off the fish is because my family is leaving for about 2 weeks and my mum is worried that the fish might just die within the days we are not in. Maybe due to electricity or no food or maybe the fish fall sick. So, we thought that it would be better to let it off, for good. My mum saw an uncle and a boy and went up to find out whether they want our fish. This boy and the uncle are not related but they are neighbours. The boy finds the fish very pretty and wanted it. He stayed nearby and so, he went home and asked his mum but his mum say that this kind of fish which is "fengshui" fish should not be adopted when it is let off. Well, we had yet let it off but this boy didn't explain further to his mum i guess. So, this boy came back to the river to let off the fish. Well, my mum and i were at a coffee shop having egg tarts. Then, after eating our tea break, we went up to the uncle and the boy. My mum went chatting with the uncle. While chatting with this uncle, my mum and i managed to learn things about fishing and we had an opportunity to pull the fishing rod when there is a fish. It is quite interesting, fun and new. Maybe because i never did it before. But a lot of patience is required for fishing. Seriously, i don't think i have it. Haha! Maybe it is a place to train it. We spent around 3 hours of our time there, learning facts on fishing and having the experience to fish. After so long, we offcially say bye bye to the dear fish of ours previously. Bye bye fish... Then, my mum sent ranice, grace and i to zhonghua and met up with yu jun and jolyn and watch the CO concert at the auditorium. Well, i think it is good. The concert end at 9.30pm. Ranice and i then went on to swee choon to have dinner since it was late and we don't know which other places other than macdonald is still opened at that timing. As usual, swee choon is still that delicious. After dinner, we went home. I reached home around 11.30pm and just nice, my phone was totally flat! And the day ended. Next week, i got to start with my revision and complete the 4 a maths graph question i have yet to do due to the lack of graph paper.
