It's a brand new start

Today it is the first day of school. Well, i sort of miss school because sometimes, school is fun. First day of school may be one of the most boring days in the whole of year. This is because early the morning, there are like 5 to 6 talks/briefs. Now i am secondary 4 so i won't be sitting at the hall ground but instead, i will be sitting in the gallery. The gallery was horrible on the first day. The ground was extremely sandy and i don't know where the sand come from. People either sweep off the sand or use a book to fan it off. But some just don't care and sit down. If you don't care and sit down, the consequence is your skirt or your pants is going to be dirty. I think the effect of the skirt is bigger since our skirt is green. Well, sitting on the dirty floor and listening to 5 to 6 talks/briefs nearly made me go into sleep. Most of the talks are similar to the talks held on the first day of school every year. After the boring talks/briefs, we went back to class. Our seat arrangement was changed and i dislike my seat terribly. It is at the last row and it is a very good place to sleep. Firstly, i can't concentrate on that sleep. Secondly, i can fall asleep easily there. Mr ang said it does not make much difference after changing our seats because when lessons start, we will be banded. The only time that we will be sitting at that seat is during CE lesson. Well, i manage to bargain with mr ang and at last, he agreed to let me sit on the floor beside jolyn during CE lesson. Yay! This is so much better. At least during CE lesson, i will not sleep behind. Maybe if i am very tired and i don't really want to listen to CE lesson, i will remain at my seat and sleep there. Hehe! Then, the day went on with committee selection. Soon, school ended. Lunch, grace, jolyn, ranice and i went to nex to have lunch because jolyn wants to buy something there. Initially, we wanted to have swensens but there is no 1-for-1 lunch so we decided to go off. Personally, i think student meal at nex is too expensive. The student meal should be set at $6.90 nett, inclusive of GST and service charge. At nex, most student meal is $9.80. And after including GST and service charge, it will be $10++. It is more than my daily allowance!!! So, we went to Freshness Burger instead. The food there is not bad, the terrayaki chicken burger was nice. Then, all of us went home. I went home had medicine, put my bag and went to ranice's house. After that, i went home, drowsy. I think it is due to the medication. Once i reached home, i laid down on my sofa and fell asleep. Tomorrow lesson is going to resume. Hopefully all the lessons will be interesting.
