"Moodless" to Study
Monday, March 28, 2011 @ 10:19 PM
It has been really long since i blogged. Actually i wanted to blog when i came back from Turkey so that i can briefly talk about the fantasy there but seriously, i am somehow fighting for time. Well, when i came back, i think due to time lag, i kept on having afternoon naps and my afternoon naps can be as long as 4 hours. And sometimes, i don't even realise that i am actually taking a nap. Sometimes, i can sleep until i forgot to wake up and forgot to do all my work and at last, i am rushing my work near midnight. But now, time lag isn't much an issue. However, i fell ill. Sobs... There is like some kind of epidemic in my school as everyone is coughing coughing coughing. And sadly, i am one of the victim of this epidemic. Maybe it is time for the school to do some sanitation. Sometimes, i coughed so badly like i am having so disease but hopefully, i can recover as soon as possible. Well, tomorrow there is history test but i am really have no mood to study at all! What can i do? I also don't know. Well, there will be more test coming up but for now, i am "moodless". I think i am most probably affected by my illness. At the same time, when i came back from Turkey, i went to have Bak Kut Teh for dinner and i was so excited that i burnt my tongue -.- In the past few days, it was really painful that speaking was a problem and eating is a suffering. Thankfully, now it is much more better. Well, the notes are currently in front of me, right in front of my eyes but whatever i studied or read does not go into my mind. Though this isn't good, there seem to be nothing much i can do since currently, i don't have the mood. Well, march is coming to an end and in 3 weeks times, Prelim 1's advanced paper is coming soon. AAAAHHHH!!!! STRESS IS BUILDING UP!!!
Ok, let's not talk about this stressful stuff. Well, back to Turkey then. This place is very beautiful due to its natural scenery and if you have never been there, you should try visiting. However, the cost of living is quite high but if you want to buy souvenirs, buy from the villagers as your tour bring you to the villages. Well, the villages definitely tend to be cheaper. Well, Singaporeans always complain that our oil price is very very high and expensive but if you ever been to Turkey and saw the oil prices there, most probably, Singaporeans will stop complaining about the oil prices. Example, in Singapore, 95 petrol oil is sold around S$2.00++ but in Turkey, the same oil is sold at TL4.30++ which is around S$4.00++. See, the price is doubled in Turkey. Well, this is an evidence of their high cost of living. During end March, start of April, tulips start to bloom and it was said to be very beautiful. At the same time, if you visit Turkey, you must bring sun block! Though the weather might be very cooling (when i visited, it was very cooling) but Turkey has low cloud cover so the sunshine is bring and strong and you will have sun burn. Well, i had. Well, there are marvelous food such as fried mussels, mussels with baked rice, fried pregnant fish, baked potato, Turkish ice-cream (my favourite), Turkish tea and many more. Well, no matter how flourish or how amazing my description can be, you have to visit the country yourself to understand and appreciate the beauty!
